Default How many of you have trained in Thailand?

What camps?

I trained at Tiger Muay Thai. I also am doing a lot of research on other camps because I am planning on going back. In the mean time I am doing a lot of article writing about camps.

Tell me what camp you trained at, and provide a website link if possible. Thanks.

Dan

I remember training in a thai stable a short walk from the Kao-san road area. The guy who owned it also owns the snooker parlour on the Kao-san road.

No. I have a lot of respect for BBJ but it is not what I have chosen to study.

Default Tiger Gym, Hong Kong

Some of the best memories I have of training are of the Tiger Gym in Tsim Tsa Choi, Kowloon. The owner was a grisled old chinese guy who had won some Kumintae competitions in Japan in the 50s and ran a fighters gym. Training with these fighters was hard-core conditioning and fitness. The gym was set up on the roof of a city block and we trained in 35+ degrees and 100% humidity, fantastic!
