I'm so chuffed that Disgruntled has dragged herself into a swimming pool!! How did you find it? I retured to the pool yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks and man it was hard work but I feel so much better for doing it. I resume Ninjutsu this week too and can't wait!!!

I like to lift weights three times a week, and do a little bit of cardio exercise everyday. I think cardio is very important. There's nothing like carrying around a healthy heart, and set of lungs.

Default Indoor fitness

Skipping and shadow. Repeat endlessly, and if you want to add a bit of definition then hold some light weights (5k) when doing your shadow. I trained like this in 2.30 min rounds and stayed fit enough to win a couple of three rounders.

yeah i do that type of shadowing.... and i use to skip A LOT..... but it turns out that skipping is more high impact than i though (i have bad osteoarthritis) and my feet could not take it..... now i swim....

although, that said i do recomend skipping because it works out the entire body. swimming is good, but it is hard to really push yourself because the fear of drownding

Surely if you don't push yourself in the pool, you drown anyway?
