Default Coping with Injuries

How do fellow martial artists cope with injuries and the frustration about not being able to train whilst healing? I was reduced to crutches last week after going over on my ankle and was devastated to be told I can't train till the New year!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!! I'm going to go insane.

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. I've been sick, and have been having one incident after another that has been ruining my own chances to train. The most recent was an accident that didn't hurt me, but I'm pretty sure it totaled the car.

i just threw out my back and have been out for almost a month... i am finally going back on monday

in other words..... i think the lesson is that MAist do not cope with injury well! half the time i usually work out too soon, or too hard and injure myself worse.

lately i have been debating taking a year off to deal with my arthritis and strengthen myself so that i can really work out hard, but i honestly do not think i would be able to survive the year, so i don't think i will do that.

hang in until the new year, it could be worse.... or work on techniques that you can do while sitting....
