It's an awesome film. Tells about some vagabonds who are ruling a small village, beating up the locals etc and a young man journeys to the Shaolin temple to learn Kung Fu so he can go back to the village and open up a can of whoop-ass on the pesky criminals!!! It shows his training through the 35 chambers of Shaolin, each one focusing on a different aspect of kung fu!

That actually sounds really awesome, and that means he's the 36th chamber? haha. Maybe I'll go out and buy it...or at least order it online or something, sounds awesome. I love movies like that; it's probably inspirational and motivational too, isn't it?

Elvis got his first black belt in Chito ryu and made it to nidan in that style if I remember right...Dan Inasanto also started in Chito ryu before Ed parker's kenpo and JKD. I even think Inasanto trained under the same instructor and time frame that Elvis did.

Elvis than trained in pasa ryu under Khang Rhee which is best described as old school TKD, Tang Soo Do. The fancy uniform you see Elvis in with the gaudy red belt/sash was during his pasa ryu days.

...and yes, he also had black belt ranking in Ed Parker's kenpo. I forgot exactly what degree he got in kenpo but I think it was 4th or higher and I think he may have got 6th or 7th in Pasa ryu.
