i just watched the movie Red Belt and i highly recommend it. it is about MMA and the coruption in the sport and implications it has on martial arts.

it is basically about a guy, who is best described as like sirdarksol, who has a string of unfortunate things happen so that the only way out seems to be to compete in a MMA tournament.... great story, and great commentary about negative aspects of MMA.

i thought red belt was truly bad they repeated every line with a question "im going to be in a movie" "what youre going to be in a movie?" and the plot was poorly set up

what? when are they repeating that? are you sure you are thinking of the same movie? it isn't even about someone in a movie, it is about a TMAist that forced into fighting in a corupt fighting competition.
