Does anyone know much about Escrima? I have read about it before and this is all I can really remember...It is a Philipino martial art that was created many decades ago and continues to develope as time goes on. It utilizes the short stick as the main weapon. There are both sport applications for this form of martial art as well as it can be used for self defense.

I had never heard of this style of fighting before until now. I did a search on it and found out that it is very interesting. I had no idea that the Phillinos had any form of martial arts. Here is a link to more info about it.
