Default Combat Hopak

i heard of this new MA and i wish i had more info on it, but the only book is wrote in Ukranian.... and although i am Ukranian, i don't know, well really, anything about my heritage, especially the language.

Hopak is a the name for Ukranian dancing, which is fairly popular so you might have seen it at some point. recently, a MAist (Volodymyr Pylat) has taken the dance form and transformed it into a martial arts. i am guessing it is along the lines of capoeria, or taekyyon. i would love more information but there is little on the net.... and even less in english

Don't forget the eggs. They've got really beautiful eggs.

And mutants, lots of radioactive mutants. (For those who don't know what I'm joking about here, look up the Chernobyl incident, one of the most horrific accidents in history. I do not doubt that it affected my own family, as I have some Ukrainian blood myself)

Default Ukrainian Heritage Spirit of Soul and Liberty

To Be Ukrainian and of Ukrainian Heritage, Мій Брат (My Brother) and Моя Сустра My Sister, It is simple, It is in Your Blood, …and Genetic, If we had a motto it would be something like: Spirit of Soul and Liberty.

1 of 3 parts...
Here are some ideas to share about at least for me, what it means to be Ukrainian and likely what you too will feel as you discover your heritage as a descendant of Ukraine.

hopak is derived from the verb hopaty (Ukrainian: гопати) which means "to jump," as well as the corresponding exclamation [imperative in a positive emotional affirmative format] hop!

Hopak Ukrainian Zaporizhian “Dance” expression of Ukrainian genetic heightened capacity of emotions that is a common empathetic genetic trait common to all Ukrainians throughout the ages, its history, its development of its own language, and a society built upon this expression...

Kozak Sich generally frowned upon amusements and diversions from military training, such regulations were overlooked when Kozaks returned victorious after battle. Kobzars and other musicians would gather their instruments - violins, bagpipes, cimbaloms, and fifes - while other participants would dance.

Often fights from the battlefield would be re-enacted in pantomime, with real swords, lances or other weaponry, as the performer lashed out at invisible enemies.

These dances were not tied down to specific rhythms, and the dancers could change tempo at any point.

Note: rhythm is in the genetic BLOOD of Ukrainians. They have emotional scale range for example 1-10 where as the rest of the world has 1-8. They simply have more neurochemistry, neurotransmitters that produce MRE emotion in the cerebral cortex in their brain, and subsequently enlightens the vibrancy spectrum of their soul equally. It opens a door to more things. To explain this would be an example ...
To be Ukrainian is accurate to say that they as analogy have “TWO SETS OF EARS”. The first set of ears is like all other humans, and hears regular concepts and thing of emotional scaling 1-8. Ukraine however when things are more emotional, their second set of ears hear emotional concepts, words, strong uttered sounds, passionate expression from 8-10 with an additional set of ears. For example if someone is talking about something emotionally strong, there are triggers in the words that enable this within the Ukrainian mind and they “see” they “hear” and “process” this information with additional attention and connect to different thinking within the mind. Instantly they function a various portion of the mind centered around such emotional subjects that others mealy see as emotional.

If you are of Ukrainian heritage you not only feel slightly apart as you observed others around you growing up knowing they “feel” slightly different from you in some way easy to discern, but you also “F-E-E-L” it differently as well. Not so much different, it is you are more empathetic and have greater capacity for higher on the scale of emotions than most, and this clarifies things for you, it allows you to process information with additional emotional information and when you study a culture that so do this similarly, you don’t feel so very different but rather, enhanced and conceptually you are able to distinguish this within yourself and recognize it immediately when you understand this within you, and others who are similar.

Others see the world sympathetically, that is they conceptually sense when another is having great emotional experience, but generally do not feel it themselves, though at times, at times, they do.

Whereas Ukrainians instinctively see things or rather feel things, and feel them empathetically. They “FEEL” what others feel. This is not once in the while, this is the MAJORITY of the time.

Does this mean Ukrainians and Ukrainian genetics and ancestry is predisposition for emotional reckless people. No. Absolutely in the imperative way things in Ukrainian are communicated, absolutely no. It is accurate to say they are more intelligent as a result of. Simply there is more information and making decision making in a storm of emotion with a clear head is something Ukrainians do so better. Additionally they will be more likely to bring attention to matters that need attention following the same line of reason. They are more articulate as a result similarly. They feel a passion for life, it is a emotional connection as well as a conception one. The best artists of the world many are Ukrainian. If you are of Ukrainian heritage, as you explore the history (know too there is a re-writing of Ukrainian history as a Russian perspective, and one purely of Ukrainian history that the present day grandmothers and Grandfathers of that culture can share with you as they remember history as you align that with Wikipedia references and other texts you read). You simply will “feel” the correctness of the history for the most part like a built in lie detector of emotional truth. Truly it is kind of kool. All people feel emotions. At different times of a person’s life, all people feel experiences and processes emotions of tremendous emotional experiences (both positive as well as negative emotions) as simply being human. So some people process these experiences of tremendous emotions well and others do not. Ukrainians are the same way, where they process more emotions more efficiently as added information and there are those who do not, however the important thing to notice is that all do process more emotions majority of the time, and do so in a very articulate way. It is accurate to say they are more intelligent as a result this is a genuine blessing of except emotionally they tend to live their lives in a manner that follows this. There is considerable additional information communicated in a emotional context that is extremely informational, Ukrainian naturally and instinctively pick up and are automatically aware of this additional information as part of their ability emotively to feel what others around them express. This additional information is a blessing and everyone who is emotive (as opposed to simply sympathetic) will intuitively understand this as and additional sense for additional information. It is fascinating, informative, and I have observes Ukrainian genetically. When you are emotive and around emotive people, you will feel the emotive emotions within yourself to determine and verify if this is true, it is so simple, and again Ukrainian in your heritage. People who are not Ukrainian can at many times be emotive (feel what others feel) and there are people who also are generally emotive, whoever Ukrainians and people of Ukrainian heritage do this instinctively and automatically.

There is tremendous suggestion the language of Cyrillic Ukrainian, as you understand it, has imperative and command and such strong directness that this too builds clarity of direct expression when it has to be bold, emotionally pivotal and communicated without obscurity but rather it is in the language itself to speak in a direct concise manner to communicate strong emotional communication in clarity, and there is a direct method of this called imperative.

Second note there is a second aspect of Ukrainian language, again Cyrillic is Ukrainian, but the second important point that is emotionally vivid is the language itself also reads as sheet music. There are vowels that are pronounced in timing changes just as notes of music have full notes and half notes. Depending on conjugation, vowels that normally are spoken twice as long in some situations are half as long. When you understand music and the musical notes of sheet music (like the letters of a language), and your language happens to be structured to follow the similar rules as music, you instinctively as you speak, whether you know it or not, you build into your language not just mere communication, but instinctively you compose the sound of music simultaneously as you communicate. So what does this mean. Well it means as you communicate, whether you are aware or not, you are also composing music, and in so doing, you F-E-E-L and are significantly more likely to FEEL your communication because it includes the musical aspect. It in a way, paints your communication and covers it with a musical element, that makes it more emotionally clear, more vibrant, and you develop extra thoughts, based around the emotional content of communication.

Minor note, To simplify this Ukrainian language in any way would be analogous to taking a complex beautiful vivid opera, and, making the music less complex to be simpler to play, but sounds more horrible to the soul. I would rather listen to a complex opera any time that takes true skill to play, rather, than alternatively listen to music that is merely easier to play.

SO it would be true to an extent to say Ukrainians automatically without knowledge in fact when discussing such subjects, will tend to talk about things that “resonate” emotional strength or emotional concepts so they can feel the discussion. Do this as a study yourself, find out a small community of Ukrainians of roughly 7 Ukrainians, and simply listen to the subject they discus while at the same time making observation to whether it is emotionally strong in importance. Was it fun? Did your spirit notice this additional part of the matter of discussion and if so, adding this aspect, well how did it make you feel? You may find you enjoy this and enjoy guiding conversations through such similar ways, which if you are Ukrainian ancestry you feel it yourself instinctively without training. It feels good to feel things when talking about them. So many of their discussions will be about subjects, or discussed in a way that will have additional emotional content as well as will narrate a story or discuss subject matters that tend to be vibrant and full of emotions you can connect to and feel. It is also when such a strong story of how much one had to endure for a goal, will tell you the strength of that person’s or nation’s moral character as being resilient, again a source of pride built into the Ukrainians language and into their very genes.

It is so very true that Ukrainian is genetic, that you could have a Ukrainian descendant, born in another country, such as America, and never teach them Ukrainian language that would reinforce their empathy nature, and not expose them to their history and resiliency and strength of character to survive in spite of that history that such a person without knowledge of their history, of their Ukraine Cyrillic language, or having Ukrainian community, would still be genetically Ukrainian such that it would be quite noticeably obvious that as they grow up, they would have a distinct character trait of strong empathic and emotional way about them such that they would stand out in a crowd to say things when things are not libertarians, to similarly for those who act on these extra emotions in a harnessed manner though quite would be expressive in other manner, tremendous purpose or tremendous artisans. Men would fall into this as well. Men with testosterone would harness this emotion or express it in such manner that their character would reminiscent of the brotherhood of camaraderie as Zaporizhian Cossacks. You can take the human man or woman out of Ukraine and out of their language, even out of their history, however even with this, you can not take the Ukrainian out of their DNA and their blood and their emotional way of the emotional vast additional capacity of their cerebral cortex. They will in time simply live a life that is still of Ukrainian way of life mediating and one towards a life that builds around strength of emotional existence

Ukrainians are not just an emotional people slaves to their emotions. Quite the contrary, Ukrainians have the extra emotionally capacity, however integrate this additional emotional capacity into their thinking process. IT is such a strength of character that of the Ukrainians that harness this well, you find some of the greatest expressionists of human intelligence ever lived, and in future will to be yet lived as a certain guarantee of Ukrainian genetic gift of heritage.

Default part 2 of 3 for Ukrainian Heritage input

2 of 3 parts
All people can be empathetic to a degree. All people can understand when something is passionate and learn to recognize this and understand that “more” information of character and importance of subject matter as well as impact of such importance when they start to “think” this way. However, Ukrainians, instantly hear this additional emotion, they form thoughts instantly to their minds with added emotional informational observation.

Imagine as people develop this additional ability, and passion for life, to consider just a moment, a entire people that have built their society, their culture, their language, daily discussions how they interact in family, their customs such that all their developed way of life centers around the preservation and promotional of this emotional experience such that it is a promoted way of life. When you consider this, who would not want to live there or have such vividness in their family or future family?

TO know this is to understand why Ukrainians drink vodka and make merry to steer conversation to heightened emotional content. It is to know their language makes communication like a song. Leo Tolstoy said of Ukrainian Cyrillic language, and he is a relative notable reputable onion. There are hundreds of others I would discuss another time.

Imagine the expression of Ukrainian dance, warfare (as from a perspective of training for develops the few positive truly wonderful things that if could be separated and infused alone in a culture would be magnificent and would be brotherhood perspective of duty + diligence + taking care of your fellow man which when you see this aspect of martial arts which is why training in some martial arts develops this if you mindfully look for it or military you understand the best in self and the best for the preservation of your fellow man and are easily the better part of any religion), poetry in this emotional context as an expression of what tremendously motivated humans are capable. TO understand this is to understand the very soul of the Ukrainian people and the very should of what human are capable of.

TO be Ukrainian is a genetic condition of additional empathetic emotional capacity that resonates in any human and more so in the genes of one who is of Ukrainian heritage. Two Ukrainians can know each other in less than a hour of discussion in community format which potentially could involve over a few vodka’s as a sign to express emotionally (I recommend Ukrainian vodka) that takes others weeks or years to truly “see” the character and soul of a person. When you are empathetic and “feel” another person, it is easy to understand how they may think and Ukrainians emotional capacity allow this to naturally occur as a part of more than their culture, because their culture simply reinforces and supports that which is the core of what makes a Ukrainian, Ukrainian, it is a accuracy to say to be Ukrainian is in their blood and to understand this is to consider their emotionally additional capacity when you interact with them to understand their vibrancy, tenacity, and desire to build a society that promotes such welfare within a person and it is the kind of world that is better for us all when you grow the very positive emotions we are all trying to live and experience our lives by.

TO be Ukrainian is simply in our blood, to experience Ukrainian is to be near another such empathic person and to experience further would be to immerse yourself liking jumping into a swimming pool off a diving board up high into such waters of emotion. Imagine learning the language and speaking with another Ukrainian about a matter you are interested and imagine just being within a country of millions who feel this way as part of their biochemistry and genetics so that they simply have that propensity naturally occurring. When you get a little of this and a taste of this, you understand, and desire more of the condition of human emotional experience that you want more. Find a Ukrainian community, and jump off the diving board into as much Ukrainian as you can possibly surround yourself with, and imagine how you will feel. Now make the world a better place, for we are all brothers and sisters, (phonetically said mia brat and moya sestra).

Once you can see what is is to see Ukrainian as a thought process, then once you experience the capacity boundaries emotional that just being around a Ukrainian will allow you to feel for yourself, more, then you will want to experience life with the same approach, more life as a condition and standard more than merely an existence.

Follow your life by this pursuit for more life and this simply and complex approach to life. Model a society to promote more life so you may experience more yourself as surrounded by it and part of it within you. It is an adaptation and an expansion of the current human genome in a specific way that enhances humanity to a greater capacity that genetically is part of Ukrainians.

To be Ukrainian is to be more alive, and your soul thirsts for life. Feed it. Nourish it.

Many would have you believe Russian language came first. Not so. Many would have you think Russian came before the development of the Ukrainian culture (actually hundreds of years earlier with international marriages of Kiev to Greece and sending of thousands of Ukrainian troops also to Greece its international neighbor, which became their Varangian Guard the guard elite for Greece’s capital, look it up). To know Ukrainian history, you will learn is one of tremendous pride, that too many Ukrainians today, understand, and are too modest to openly “debate” but know to be true and hold it, passionately in their hearts that they would not dare compromise within their own minds, it is just a pride internally to most, and one you too will feel which is of tremendous pride. Wait until you read of the Zaporizhian Cossacks and the history after a few years of on and off looking at you will understand its true role and pride of its accomplishment for the older army of preservation of Ukrainian identity and the border of present Ukraine as people were push and pushed and well the Zaporizhian Cossacks pushed two countries back. Liberty in any heritage has a feeling. You will know this feeling too. If you ever get to go to Urkaine, look at the masonry and know how the Greece alliance with early Urkaine traded with Kiev architecture that internationally we added to our own, it looks spoectacular and it will make you feel something, something vivid in your soul when you see, truly. Read of Tolstoy and his love of these Cossacks as and of the Ukrainian Language like music so beautiful to his ears, his words are not a prevalent as one generally knows. Read how Tchaikovsky’s father was Ukrainian and his grandfather was Ukrainian Cossack (that is the equivalent to America’s minute-men during our similar early American independence) and his grandfather changed his name as Russia made it against the law to even speak the word Cossack at that time period. Kind of makes you proud a word is so powerful it is against law. Note Tchaikovsky’s initial version of the Nutcracker Ballet and how it had a direct Cossack story that his teacher Hoffman had edited (that too was a beautiful version and more along the lines of a Ukrainian flavor). Understand the Bandura a poetic singer of Cossack exploits after battle and how that is a identity culturally you see in many paintings (and Russia’s I am sad to say executed 4 master blind bandurist years ago) again history you will feel passion and be proud of. Let’s see, oh yes Taras Chevchenko, he has book of work that is history as much as it is inclusive of a few very notable poems that are famous I like among the rest. They at times seem gruesome by western standards, we do not talk of death in poetry, but when you read how he will not go to heaven until his people are free (see the poem that talks of the river he wanted to be buried) you will feel something. The book full of poems is full of the passion emotionally that is triggered in an emotionally expanded heightened “capacity” for emotions and you will understand this, it will make sense, and more so, it is so amazing, you will feel it. You will research and find what challenges to get him buried back in Ukraine had to be done to honor his desire to be Ukrainian. Again you will feel it, and very good. The Ukrainian people read this book like it similar in importance to a bible to the Ukrainian people, it is accurate to say it is close to their soul. You will read, and find, it will stir yours, emotionally and you will feel camaraderie of your heritage to a nation of people. Search Hopak and Virksy on YouTube as well as look up Zaporizhian Cossacks in Wikipedia and look up Zaporizhian State University in Ukraine (they have a website about Zaporizhian Cossacks, and if you use the Google translation toolbar from Google web site, you can translate these wonderful history pages), and see Ukrainian Cossack dance, the emotions in it, and if you know martial arts, you will see the potential of the martial art within the dance itself, and again martial art at least to me, is to stir and raise the feelings of your soul as one develops self pride, develops character, develops clarity of thought and compassion for his brother and sister. You will note that Russia’s history is very different of Ukraine than the history of Ukraine has of itself (and now that Ukraine is independent) it is finding its identity again.

Kozatskyi Kaut is new to the dojo
Default part 3 of three for about Ukainian Heritage (a start)

3 of 3 parts
The people of Russia you will find get along with Ukraine and vice versa, the people like in all countries have good people, and when you keep in mind the difference between people and the historical actions of governments, I believe this is important to understand, you will see people and beauty of people for peoples actions. It is accurate to say that much of the Capital of Kiev relocated later to Moscow and it is accurate to say the Ukrainian language is the language that Russia based its origin and modified slightly. You will find as you search that Russia is to Ukraine as a development as America grew from England. It is not a perfect analogy, but you will find Ukraine did not evolve from Russia but rather Russia has developed from key aspects of Ukraine and Ukraine flourished hundreds of years earlier, so in your search for ancestry, the way you will see things written, you will develop a sense to make up your own mind and this will help as a reference as you get started to know your heritage, and know how history has a way of being written that does not reflect the accuracy, which is in of itself a Slavic art of storytelling. One thing Russia simply loves of Ukraine and wishes to share its identity in part as much as Ukrainians love of itself, is the Repin painting of the Reply of the Ukrainian Zaporizhian Cossacks, its message of heartfelt liberty, the emotional description of it, the story telling in an emotional way that connects you to the soul of the people and potentially your heritage, and if you read the translation, you too will simply feel the emotions intertwined into the lines of the poetry of the meaning behind the work of art that can be and embody the soul and the emotional resiliency of the Ukrainian people. As an American the concept of liberty is equally a strong one to motivate the most patriotic of peoples endeavors and as a concept for humanity of any culture to be most proud of as well as hold in high regard. If you study music and then begin to learn the Ukrainian language, you will see how similarly the vowels of Ukrainian language change in time after vowels and consonants such that you will relate the two literally as music. Again it will stir your emotion and feed your soul. This is what it is to be Ukrainian. Spirit of soul and liberty.

If you ask me, I would say Ukrainians around the world feel the need for to preserve their identity, but I would add not so much that it is a connection to a culture they are related to, but I see that it is a preservation of a internal emotional support system of language and history and many things of subject matters that simple allow you to feel the higher strength of strong emotions that as a man and woman and human simply connecting to these culture is to promote a human emotional condition within oneself that otherwise you would have to take up painting or skydiving, or get a hobby you are good enough to enjoy, but when you think about it, a entire language an culture that fosters these things in a tremendous fashion, you see the Ukrainians do not merely perpetuate their culture in any country that they are part of, but rather perpetuate a condition for humanity that makes you feel the spirit of the tremendous emotions and once you see this, you will always see it and enjoy life in this perspective. Then Ukrainian virtue as well, is an invitation into your own pursuit of spirit, no matter what the subject matter may be, it is with more spirit. Spirit of soul and liberty, these tow concepts will make you feel something, and there are too many subject matters to a Urtkainian that will inveite you to feel these philosophical concepts, with spirit.

Additional note which saint Cyril and Methodist documented in the history of Ukrainians people what is present day southern Ukraine the Ukrainian Cyrillic language. It was first documented in southern Ukraine 861 Southern Ukraine, Crimea (the most southern part of present day Ukrainian Country). The first text book classes to any society was Saint Vladimir in Kiev Ukraine, 861 when he first created the first Cyrillic Text books and thought the future ruling class of Ukrainian people. It was from this language that HUNDREDS of years later Soviet Russia based their Cyrillic Russian and still use to this day. It is also a not that the first major capital of Russia being Moscow was only a minor meager town that Kiev itself had relocated much of its operations to, again, hundreds of years later in year 1147, so you can see the language of the history of the people of Ukraine as well as its ruling early government were the first to develop, print, and teach the early Cyrillic language which Saint Cyril and his brother Saint Methodist were first to documented in southern Ukraine.

I hoped this helped. I feel good and vibrant about helping another of Ukrainian heritage. I hope this helps as some reference to start your journey into understanding more about you and how you process your emotions and a culture of people who do the same. For Spirit of Soul and Liberty.

Default Also a small paper I Wrote on Key Times in Ukrainian history

The people of Ukrainian history

I wrote this for a Ukrainian meetup group a few weeks back thought you might like the references in it too.

The group was so wonderful last meeting. I enjoy opportunity to talk more and learn. There is a great book Sailing from Byzantium, wonderful of Ukrainian people about 20 pages, pages 238-255. Another good book The Jews of Khazaria. You know this is fascinating. At the risk of talking too much, I will share in case anyone would like to talk about and bring which shares much of the history of Crimea and cities all over southern Ukraine, history that flourished long before Russia exited, so opens much historical information on the history of the southern Ukrainian people in that time frame and records how Crimea and southern Ukraine existed as Ukrainian history, prior to the existence of Russian, which gives Ukrainian history as history that belongs to Ukraine.

The information about the book “Sailing from Byzantium”, wonderful of Ukrainian people where key pages are about 20 pages, pages 238-255. The ISBN number which you give to the bookstore to find it easily (or to Amazon.com to order on the internet) is ISBN-13 number is 978-0-553-38273-0.

The information about the book “The Jews of Khazaria”, wonderful of Ukrainian people where key things were about southern Ukraine and Crimea and the alliance between earlier Ukraine and Greece (Byzantium). The ISBN number which you give to the bookstore to find it easily (or to Amazon.com to order on the internet) is ISBN-13 number is 978-0-7425-49-81-4 and the ISBN-10 number is 0-7425-4981-X.

The people of Ukrainian history, Ukraine’s heritage (often referred to as Kievan or Kievan Rus and earlier Khazarian) and all of this Ukrainian history well predates Russia hundreds of years. Ukraine history predates as well as directly gave birth to Russia were the capital of Kiev settled Moscow’s capital hundreds of years later. The Greek (Byzantium) alliance with Kiev at this time predates Russia’s Moscow and confirms this, giving Ukraine and its history a special significance and pride as its own independent history. Note too Byzantine (Greek) alliance with earlier Ukrainian history (royalty married between earlier time periods of Ukraine as well) also predates Russia again gives Ukraine its own independent history, and cultural pride.

Year 550 (page 13 Khazar book) The earliest references for the dress code that influenced the Zaporizhian Cossacks a thousand years later as one of Ukraine’s notable centralized military. Cone-shaped caps lined with fur, shaving off of their hair with the exception for a portion worn as a pigtail. Many martial artists do understand that similar in Japan this portion of hair reminds one to stand in good pasture as a constant reference to physical posture for battler. The Zaporizhian Cossacks many refer to as the soul of Ukraine, much history here, but will develop separately as it is vast, and a notable cultural icon for Ukraine presently on the coat of arms. Note too the Replay of the Zaporizhian Cossacks is heart felt by Slavics even outside of Ukraine sharing the Ukrainian vibrancy of self determination and spirit, apply defined, communicated and well related to.

Year 732-733 (page 136 Khazar book) Byzantium (Greek) prince named Emperor Constantine V, married Khazar princess Chichek, note this affected Cherson city as well as many other cities across and the whole of all Crimea greatly.

Observation. Note too Crimea was Kievan controlled and Khazarian controlled by the people of Ukrainian history much earlier than Russia existed (note Moscow existed as a small outpost, much, much, later, 4 hundred years later) and Cremea has hundreds of years as the people of Ukrainian history.

Year 886-912 (page 137 Khazar book) Khazars served as imperial body-guards for Byzantium emperor Leo VI. Note that that the people of Ukrainian history provided superior warriors to Greece, again and again as a symbol of the advanced cultures of Ukraine and their alliances with other countries.

Year 956 (page 238 Byzantium book) - The people of Ukrainian history, Kievans gave 6000 troops to Greece (known as Byzantine) which became their Varangian capital guard. Note that that the people of Ukrainian history yet again provided superior warriors to Greece, again and again as a symbol of the advanced cultures of Ukrainian history and their alliances with other countries.

Year 962-972 (page 152-153 Khazar book) Grand Duke Kiev won war over Khazar. Absorbing the benefit of along legal procedures, systems of government and military organization.

Year 980-1015 (page 153 Khazar book) Grand Prince Vladimir if Kiev integrated Khazar into Kievan
Year 988 (page 238 Byzantium book) Grand Prince Vladimir of Kievan people married Byzantine princess Anna offered by Byzantine emperor Basil. An alliance worth noting of an advanced people of Ukrainian history.

Year 861-861 (page 68 Khazar book) Cherson, Crimea present day Ukraine Saint Cyril documented the Cyrillic language and alphabet from Slavic Churches in Crimea year 861-862. This was 3 hundred years before Moscow was a small outpost year 1147 roughly 400 years later, and 400 years before Russia had any influence in the Crimea region.

Observation, note Crimea and Kiev were both part of the Kievan and Khazarian people at that time (early Ukraine, prior to existence of Russia) and Cyril added characters into the Cyrillic alphabet (Shi and ShChi) that were of the local Khazarian influence of that time (Shi was based on the Hebrew Shin and Tzi was based on the Hebrew Tzaddi both part of the national language of Khazarian empire at that time).

Second Observation, Note even the location of the language and characters of the language originated within the borders of Southern Ukraine (not to the north of Ukrainian border, not to the East of Ukrainian border , not West and not south), it originated within the Ukrainian country itself, and prior to the existence of Russia. It is historically accurate and important to Ukrainian identity, to say Russian language (as well as their capital) originated and came both from Ukraine. This is exciting for the Ukrainian to be the originator of their history and the history of others as opposed to the other way around as often the history has been inaccurately twisted to believe. Ukrainians have so much history and it is a personal observation of pride to remember history in the correct order and as it enriches the Ukrainian identity as independent and a originator of its own history as well as a guide for its own future.

Year 988 (page 240 Byzantium book) The Slavic language was introduced to the world for the first time as book-learning state language as then ruler Grand Prince Vladimir to Ukrainian Kievans school the future learning class. This predates any formal education using Cyrillic language in Russia, and started in Kievan people (early Ukraine), and to Ukrainians, this is important pride that Ukrainian Cyrillic language started, flourished and was first taught in book-learning format, first originating in Ukraine.

Observation, note to say Kiev and Ukrainians’ Kiev were primitive at this time is absurd, based on international relationship with Greece, the origination of Slavic book-learning language anywhere for the first time in the world, and, developed their culture enough to provide significant number of troops to Greece, it is clear to see early Ukraine called by any name, was strong and advanced the originator of language and the capital of the Slavic world. Moscow was a relocation of Kiev itself (of course hundreds of years, later). To understand this, is to understand Ukraine.

In short, Ukraine Kiev was the capital of this world, and Kiev still stands today and surrounded presently still by the descendants of the people who lived in southern Ukraine form this time period, is notable.

Year 1037-46 (Page 241 Byzantium book) Grand Prince Vladimir’s son Yaroslav the Wise, Saint Sophia's Cathedral in Kiev were commissioned and built all over Ukrainian’s Kiev’s alliance with Byzantium. (I visited there when I was in Kiev).

Year 1147 (page 247 Byzantium book) first time small outpost existed in Moscow (note Kiev was flourishing, prior to this)

Year 1157 (page 247 Byzantium book) Grand Prince Vladimir moved Kiev to the small outpost of Moscow (this is how Moscow started, started from Ukraine’s Kiev, nice history for Ukrainians)

Year 1439 (page 275 Byzantium book) Council of Florence (Italy and subsequently Greece or Byzantium entirely favored Catholic over Orthodox)

Year 1453 (Page 275 – 277) Byzantine (Greece) fell to Turks
Greece never taxed Kiev nor Moscow again due to both above, note too Moscow now saved these unpaid taxes and grew.

Default Some martial Arts notes on the Ukrainian History

Minor Note. There has always been within the dance of any culture, the martial art steps within a pose or dance. An excellent martial artist can point this out. Slao since Ukrianian history has been hidden from the world in a manner of speaking, their Hopak dance and Zaporizhian Cossack of which the dance is based on their reenactments surely can one durive a martial art. It is very clear to me as i have been in JuJitsu for 7 years (slooooow learner) but i see the arts, or many of them in the dance. Whenyou see the dance this way, you can see the arts of martial arts. You can vision havin gthat control over the self body and knowing those dance moves, in a martial combat (or optimistically a sports competition of martial arts) this dance would be a art in of itself, and once you have the entire dance down and talk with martial art masters 30 years or more of whatever they studied (and the dozens of other arts too they studied) then you can extrat an martial art form this and train it as such. Those poepel in time would be marital artists who view the dance as in terms of effectiveness of the martial art. It is interesting. I would like to join this group in time, know its arts and further extract "more" from the dance, and teach it as Samurai JuJitsu has and dozens of other arts belending their knowldege to harnes and sharpen the skills of this one. Note too the Zaporizhian Cossack sword dance, and the martial arts of that which can be extracted for sword techniques, and compliment that understanding with the JuJitsu or Samurai teaching of sword techniques of thousands of years and you can not only adequately rebuild the sword fighting format and implement a structured sword training for Ukrainian based sword arts that are on horseback becuase history dictates as such, but similiarlry on the ground and more importantly, build upon both sword styles to improve and advance the evolultion of the Zaporizhian Martial Arts in their sword dance that is in their Hopak dance, while at teh same time, and this is important, teach the originial sword arts of Zaporizhia in its original format, even if there are "flaws" to improve, and simply preserve that as saw one list or two lists of arts, and then add additional lists that "improve or change or modifiy" those original techiniques so they are not lost. You have to think they were good enough for Zaporizhian Cossacks in battle to expand the nations borders of Ukarine against two well really three countries at the same time so they had to be battle proven. I suspect if they did not have 4 to on oddes in Zpaorizhia, when those Cossacks were overpowered by such numbers (which they were willling to fight, though it made not sense to waste life uselessly) i think we would see those sword arts today. It is a secret of the Urkianian history to the world, and if martial artists "see" the dance and sword of the Zaporizhian Cossack dance as commonplace, they will be able to build one hell of a fantastic art, and I intend to be part of that, somehow, someday. you can just see it in the dance and know it from the culrture and if you are Ukrainian in heritage you have the genetic empathetic ability to be predoposed to feel this as awsome truth. Just a note for those with martial arts mindfulness. Also to those of desiring to develop Ukrainian identity, this martial art is going to be one hell of a pwer house of effective and wonderful training to experience. (and yet to come as is develops, becomes back into the world as it is reverse engineered, and then advanced with exitisting mat wisdom at the wrolds martial art awareness and goes out into the world)
