Did anyone attend this casting? What all is involved when you interview for a role like this one? Seems like it would be something fun to do.

Sounds like it would have been fun. I would love to hear from anyone who went as well. I am always interested when people try out for these kinds of things.

The film was released last year in Thailand and is full of fast-paced action sequences without the aid of wires or computer enhanced stunts. All stunts are performed by Thai superstar Tony Jaa. Watch out for the 4 minute spiral stairway fight in particular.

In Tom-Yum-Goong, Tony Jaa demonstrates a style of Muay Thai that has moves which imitate an elephant. Jaa was able to draw on his childhood for experience, because his family raises elephants.

Tony Jaa is skilled in Muay Thai, Muay Boran, Aikido, Pencak Silat, Capoeira, Wushu, Stick, Krabi Krabong and Taekwondo.
